When it comes to capturing weddings, the details come together to set the stage for your special day.

Below are my recommendations on what to bring to create the best shots :

ACCESSORIES:

For the Bride – There are so many little details to consider so having all of these items in a designated corner of your suite (by window light) is what will make the photography time go smoothly. Veil, Shoes, Jewelry, Perfume Bottle, Bouquet, Rings, Ring Box, Clutch and anything sentimental like a hankie or heirloom pin.

For the Groom – Shoes, Cufflinks, Cologne, Bowtie, Tie Pin, Ring, Ring Box, and anything sentimental like a vow book or watch that’s been passed down.

PAPER GOODS:

Invitation Suite – Make sure to bring your full invitation suite. If you’re still looking for beautiful invitations, check out Minted with my link for $25 off your first order of $100 or more. In addition to the suite, this is a great time to show off your ring, ring box, any special letter opener or wax seal you have and additional jewelry. We have a variety of styling dishes, styling boards, risers, ribbons and vintage stamps to bring to elevate the look. In extra tip is to ask your florist to include some loose florals in your package to use for the detail shots.

Other Paper Goods – Other paper goods that would be interesting to capture are the vow books, program, and menu. Additionally if you have any first date momentos like movie tickets, concert tickets or old photos that would be a nostalgic addition.

FASHION:

Photos of your dress on the hanger are not on trend right now, however if you’d like the shot we recommend having a nice hanger available to put your dress on. Other accessories that photograph well if you will be using them throughout the night are hair pieces, gloves, fur coat, feather shrug, sunglasses, clutch or a hand fan.

Another tip is to have a steamer on site. This is perfect, for any wrinkles on your robe when getting ready or to keep any dresses looking great.
