On a grey, overcast morning I made my way to the East Bay to meet my sweet couple for their maternity session. We had decided to start their session in their home for some intimate portraits and then head over to their local reservoir.

We took a few cozy portraits on their couch. The cream tones complimenting their neutral outfits. I always think that a neutral color palette is best for maternity photos to achieve the most timeless look.

In their bedroom, we utilized their large windows for diffused light with the aid of the overcast clouds. After some portraits with both parents we also captured a more intimate maternity boudoir for the mother, which was so special. We always keep the comfort and privacy a priority for our couples, so if you’re interested in a boudoir session we will make sure it is delivered only to you and not viewed anywhere else.

Although we got a little rained on at the reservoir, it was the perfect location for their session as once the baby arrived this would be a regular place they would take their little one on walks. We specialize in working with first time parents to ensure your comfort and assist with location and wardrobe selection. Reach out today to learn more!
